Notes on accommodation

Fully air-conditioned with heating in all main rooms for the cooler months. Immaculately presented property. High chair and cots available on special request. please request at time of booking. Young children to be supervised at all times due to the steps and swimming pool.
Smocking inside the villas is not permitted

Changeover day

Bookings are taken on a Friday or Saturday to Fri/Sat. basis during the months of July and August. Although the preferred day is Friday/Sat. it may be possible to accommodate alternative rental periods ie 10 days etc. Please contact us if this required.

Bedrooms:
- Bedroom 1: with double bed, fitted wardrobes, air-conditioning and with views towards the pool and sea.
- Bedroom 2: with double bed, fitted wardrobes and air-conditioning.
- Bedroom 3: with 2 single beds, fitted wardrobes and air-con.
Bathrooms:
Bathroom complete with bath and shower, double sink vanity unit, wc. Shower room with fully enclosed shower, wc and sink.
Kitchen:
Fully equipped modern kitchen with wooden units and granite worktops and views towards the sea. Kitchen is equipped with cooker, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher etc.
Utility Room:
Utility area complete with washing machine, tumble dryer and cleaning materials, iron and ironing board.
Living Rooms:
Open plan split level modern dining area with table and six chairs, sideboard etc. Lounge area complete with two comfortable sofas, coffee table and Satellite TV and DVD. Fully air conditioned.Good views from both rooms.
Cleaning/towels/linen/maid service:
Towels and linen included (not beach towels, please bring your own). Villa fully prepared and cleaned prior to arrival with linen change once weekly. Additional cleaning available for extra charge.

Accessibility

No wheelchair access. There are steps down to the villa and also internal steps to two of the bedrooms. There is also steps down to the bottom terrace and swimming pool.

Outside

The property has a gravel planted area to the front and side of the property. The terrace area overlooks a valley with views to the sea. There is a split level terrace with a table and chairs, parasol, sun loungers and a large swimming pool. There is also a outside shower and barbecue.

Coast/Beach

A picturesque sandy beach of Sa Mesquida is approximately 10 mins drive away. There is also a beautiful beach at Es Grau complete with bars and restaurants about 15 minutes drive away which is surrounded by an area of nature reserve. Menorca is a designated biospheric reserve, which protects the coastline and countryside. 2 minutes drive away from Cala Llongas marina and glorious views over Mahon Port.

Golf

A full 18 hole golf course is approximately 30 mins drive away and is complete with driving range, putting green, tennis courts and bar/restaurant.

Travel

Mahon airport is only about 15 minutes drive away but the villa is not on the flightpath. There are many charter and scheduled flights from all parts of the UK to Menorca ie Easyjet, Monarch and Thomson. Car hire is strongly recommended - there are many National and international car hire companies operating from the airport. We can recommend several reliable companies if required.

Distances

Cala Llonga is approximately 4/5km from Mahon with numerous restaurants, shops and fantastic harbour. The villa is within minutes of the old fortress of La Mola at the entrance to Mahon harbour. Sa Mesquida with its beach and restaurant Cap Roig on the cliffs is only about 6km from the property.

Further details

The local well equipped supermarket is adjacent to the marina and is within three minutes drive from the villa. For the best shops, banks and numerous restaurants Mahon is within a very easy drive. Mahon also has a theatre, cathedral and famous fish market.

Booking notes

An initial deposit of 25% is required at the time of booking. The balance is payable 8 weeks before arrival which is payable by bank transfer or cheque. For last minute bookings please contact us by telephone or email and if within 8 weeks payment is required at the time of booking. If you have any specific requirements please contact us.
